Metsen's Mold Oscillation Analytics System continuously monitors the performance of mold oscillators in continuous casting operations, providing high-precision measurements of key operating parameters such as stroke, frequency, acceleration, synchronization, and mechanical condition. By capturing and analyzing this data, the system provides an accurate picture of oscillator health and identifies subtle changes that may indicate developing mechanical issues before they impact production.
The system generates detailed reports that transform raw sensor data into actionable maintenance insights. Historical trends and diagnostic analysis allow maintenance teams to monitor equipment condition over time, identify wear patterns, and support predictive maintenance strategies. With a clearer understanding of asset health, steel producers can schedule maintenance proactively, reduce unplanned downtime, extend equipment life, and maintain consistent casting performance and product quality.
