Our Purpose

To help industries become more safe, environmentally friendly and efficient, through the use of sensors and sensor technologies.

Who we are

Metallurgical Sensors Inc. (Metsen) is a Canadian OEM and engineering company headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario. Since 1999, we have helped leading primary metal producers and critical mineral processing companies solve difficult process challenges with reliable sensing technology, practical engineering, and responsive support.

We design, develop, integrate, and support advanced systems for harsh metallurgical smelting and processing environments. Our work includes sensing, imaging, automation and expert systems that help provide greater visibility to critical process areas, anticipate problems before escalations, and make smarter decisions.

Metsen believes in a solution-first approach. We take the time to understand each customer’s process, define the real problem, and build systems that fit the operating environment. Whether the need is a proven off-the-shelf product, a tailored integration, or a custom-engineered development, we stay focused on practical results and long-term performance.

With decades of field-support service at our installations across Canada, the United States, Asia, Europe, and Africa, Metsen combines metallurgical knowledge, advanced software capability, and hands-on engineering experience. Our goal is to help customers improve safety, quality, consistency, and confidence in demanding production environments.
